Jos Razzell – Sociodrama Practitioner
Jos qualified as a Sociodramatist and Action Methods practitioner in 2006 with MPV SAM training school. Since then she has used sociodrama, action methods and role training in her work as a teacher and trainer in the adult education sector. She also uses role training in 1:1 coaching and mentoring work as an independent practitioner.
She has a particular interest in the development of learning and teaching skills in education, and currently works as a teaching and learning advisor at Loughborough College. Her remit includes developing creative approaches which enable students to use problem solving and group work skills, and she draws heavily on her knowledge of Sociodramatic theory and practice for this task.
Jos also has a background in community arts work, and continues to work with children, young people and adult communities in a range of settings offering storytelling, singing and music workshops. She trains small groups in performance skills for storytelling. She has a strong interest in the use of ceremony and ritual to assist with personal development and life-‐stage transitions, and is an active member of a number of groups working in this area.
