I’m retiring as a sociodramatist next summer to focus on my career as a community theatre director.
I run a social improvisation company in Leeds and a performing company in Huddersfield. Both are for the over 50’s. I have just got a grant to start an Asian theatre company in Kirklees to produce plays around dementia. I also helped to establish a company in New York which is developing a sister company in Atlanta.
Together with Di Adderley the Huddersfield group, the Curtain Up Players, is producing a book – The handy Book of Unscripted Plays that will be available in the New Year.
Before I finally give up the ghost as a sociodramatist I will be running one day workshops for North West Psychodrama Association in Manchester and OPUS in London.
Together with Di Adderley I will be running a 4 day workshop in Manchester and a three weekend certificate course in Berlin.
